The reputation of Bennett Engineering has been built up over the years by providing a consistent and reliable service based on the highest quality engineering skills backed up by a management policy that insists that every operation is ‘Right First Time’. Quality assurance registration (ISO9001) was achieved in 1991 and is maintained by regular quality management audits by external scrutineers.
The management team of John Parker & Mike Stephens are personally committed to maintaining the reputation of Bennett Engineering for a quality product that is delivered on time and precisely to specification. The workforce has been built up by a careful programme of recruitment and training with a regular flow of craft apprenticeships to ensure continuity. At the same time a realistic programme of capital investment has renewed most of the major items of production equipment to provide opportunities to introduce modern CNC-controlled equipment to supplement traditional craft skills. A high proportion of the work processed by Bennett Engineering comes as repeat orders from established customers who value the consistency, reliability and honesty of the precision engineering skills obtained from a craft-led workshop managed to achieve today’s highest standards.
The personal management attention given to every job – right through from the initial quotation, materials procurement, process and quality control, to final delivery and/or assembly on site, characterises the Bennett Engineering style. Enquiries are dealt with promptly, with quotations or acknowledgements by return.
Alterations from quoted prices and delivery dates are only programmed by agreement with customers. Production control and quality management is continuous and the factory is manned to provide 24 hour working where this is required.
